These animals don't have a voice, but we do.

Owned by Outdoor Sportsman Group, part of Kroenke Sport Entertainment, the channel has already gone live in the USA and the United Kingdom has been targeted with the aim of spreading its audience across English-speaking nations.

In one programme a man can be seen shooting a lion, saying: "This is the most exciting hunt I have ever been on". Two more shots are heard before the animal falls to the ground and dies.

But maybe my feelings about this are wrong, and hell, maybe my feelings are wrong, period, for as one of the channel's presenters says, "There's no other feeling in the world quite like walking up on your bull elephant".

Many shows on the channel celebrate expensive hunting trips in Africa, where elephants, lions, buffalo and leopards - at a time when some species are close to extinction.

In an episode of another show called Dark Continent Quest, presenter Jana Waller shoots a hartebeest in South Africa with a bow and arrow before it flees. Kroenke is a USA billionaire who owns 67% of Arsenal's shares.

Kroenke oversaw the launch of the channel at a Game Fair in Hertfordshire but the app has been slammed for glorifying hunting as bloodsport.

MOTV says that it will only broadcast "ethical hunts".

Russia: VPN ban is a major blow to internet freedom
VPNs are popular in China, allowing users to get around the country's internet filter dubbed the Great Firewall. Golden Frog, meanwhile, said they "are extremely disappointed that Apple has bowed to pressure from China".

He added: "If you like hunting elephants, there will be legal elephant hunts, ethical elephant hunts shown in that context".

Numerous presenters that take part in the hunting also describe themselves as "conservationists", despite the brutal and graphic methods of killing the animals.

"I'm not sure in what way an idiot with a gun against an elephant is a fair chase."

However, Philippa King, the chief operating officer of the League Against Cruel Sports, has rejected the defence and claimed hunting does not help the conservation of endangered and wild animals.

The Gunners' majority stakeholder Stan Kroenke has been slated for launching a TV and mobile channel in Britain that glorifies shooting endangered species.

'I'm sure people won't like all the content on MOTV, but it won't be censored, ' Mr Barr said.

They argue that so long as local communities benefit in some way from hunting funds through jobs, payouts, or development projects they are far less likely to poach wildlife that they view as destructive to their livelihood.
