Calvin Harris Continues to Top Forbes Highest-Paid DJs List

If you've been listening to electronic and dance music the last few years, you'll recognize that the number one earner is once again Calvin Harris.

According to a list published by Forbes of 2017's highest-paid DJs worldwide, Calvin Harris brought in $48.5 million (€41.3 million) from June 2016 to June 2017.

The list, which uses data from Nielsen Soundscan and touring trackers like Bandsintown and Pollstar, highlights what we could have guessed about the top earners in dance music - of the 10 names included, almost all were male and white, hailing from the United States or Europe. Harris' star-studded album features an abundance of collaborations - from Frank Ocean and Migos, to Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams - and debuted at No. 2 in the U.S., Harris' best stateside debut yet.

Recently, the 33-year-old musician turned his DJ dominance into crossover success, with Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.
