Nick Jonas will join Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley in Lionsgate's upcoming thriller film Chaos Walking! Every surviving human on the planet is inflicted by The Noise virus, which creates immersive visions of thoughts.
Updated August 11, 2017: via The Hollywood Reporter, Nick Jonas has now also joined the cast, playing Mads Mikkelsen's character's son Davy Prentiss Jr. Holland will play his longtime rival Todd Hewitt, with Ridley to play a girl who may be the key to unlocking the world's many layered secrets (via Variety).
Doug Liman is directing the film, with John Lee Hancock, Gary Spinelli, Lindsey Beer, Ness himself, and Charlie Kaufman contributing to the script. Todd comes upon a unusual girl (Ridley) after discovering a secret.
The film is set to begin filming shortly, with a March 1, 2019 date locked in.
