Ever since Jon Snow sent Tormund and his Wildling army to guard Eastwatch-by-the-Sea in the Game of Thrones season premiere, the plot has been hinting at a major battle at the castle. The episode 4 "The Spoils of War" has left us with plenty to think about. Further, Jaime is the one who killed the Mad King to protect those he loved in King's Landing.
Incest isn't really the issue.
Though the Lannister twins kept their illicit relationship a secret, the Targaryens had no qualms in openly marrying their siblings in order to keep their bloodline pure.
This being said, it's clear that Dany's thinking has been massively changed after that memorable scene when she visited the Dragonstone caves and got a glimpse at the symbols that were created by the Children of The Forrest.
Dany's brother Rhaegar's marriage to Elia Martell wasn't frowned upon because she wasn't a direct family member, though she did share the Targaryen bloodline. He is a true Targaryen and also a Starke. That's it. They're not cousins, they are in no way "removed". If Jon were to bend the knee to Dany, suddenly, everyone's attention would shift. The only part that's not understood is exactly how they're related.

Her time of 9:02.58 set American and championship records, and she is the first USA woman to win the event. Schippers came out of the bend just ahead of Ta Lou and finished in 20.05 seconds.
We didn't actually see Rhaegar until season six, in a flashback from the three-eyed raven, Bran. While the idea of Daenerys marrying her biological nephew, Jon, is repugnant by modern standards, it probably won't be a big deal on Game of Thrones.
During the four four episodes of season seven of "Game of Thrones", Cardiogram recorded 2.3 million heart rate measurements. Complicated. He could let the news out to his sister's Sansa and Ayra (who he's just been reunited with) and they could send the info forward, but we feel like a much more dramatic reveal is on the cards. While I think help does eventually come, I don't think Tormund or numerous wildlings ultimately make it out. Possible, but in this writer's estimation, not terribly likely; again, Jaime can't die until he has one final scene with Cersei, at the very least. Daenerys approaches Jon while on Drogon as a show of force. But, they will have to find a way to make her listen to reason.
Daenerys is finally able to celebrate a win. Dany might have lost most of her Westerosi allies, but she still commands a horde of cavalry (Dothraki), as well as a large infantry force (Unsullied).
There is another thing that going to happen in Episode 5.
In Sunday's episode, we will also see Tyrion and fellow Dany adviser Varys (Conleth Hill) put their heads together to discuss how to get the Khaleesi back on board with their game plan.
