Ranbir Kapoor Finally Reacts To Dad Rishi's Attack On Jagga Jasoos Director

For thos of you who've missed the bus, Ranbir's daddy dearest Rishi Kapoor in an interview to Mid-Day accused Anurag Basu of being unprofessional. Apart from this, it was widely reported that Ranbir and co-star Katrina Kaif's break up also caused the delay in the making. "I can not answer for somebody else, but I don't necessarily agree with anybody else".

Ranbir is playing the lead role in a biopic on Sanjay Dutt. Asked to comment on his father's comment, Ranbir said here: "Well, my father is an emotional man and whatever he said was coming from there, and I do not necessarily agree with what my father said". We all were aware of what we were doing. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but I do not look at it as a failure. Soon after the release of "Jagga Jasoos, ' that didn't fare well at the Box Office, the 'Kapoor and Sons" star had said that even after three years of making, the film was incomplete and that Basu was cutting it even two days before the release.

Before the film's release itself, Ranbir had spoken to mediapersons about the "disorganised" way in which Anurag works on his films. But I don't look at it as a failure, I look at it as a learning. Mr Kapoor also did not appear to have great things about the film and thought that it could have been abridged by 20 minutes. It gave me a lot. Ranbir's father went on a rant against Jagga Jasoos director after his son's film failed to perform at the box office.
