Instagram is adding the ability for you to view Stories on desktop and mobile web so you can see the ephemeral posts on larger screens.

Instagram Stories has been only one of an array of attacks on rival Snapchat - along with a dedicated app for teens, Facebook Stories, Messenger Day, and more. Since launching last August, Instagram Stories has racked up an average of 250 million daily users, which is more than Snapchat itself has. Alternatively, those who wanted to get away from the noise of Instagram Stories present on the app and were using the web version for that express objective now have one less place left without Stories. Instagrammers will also be able to add to their Stories directly from desktop later in 2017. Just head to Instagram.com and check them out at the top of your feed, just like you would in the app, and use the arrow keys to flip between each mini-video.

Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) Receives Average Recommendation of "Buy" from Brokerages
It increased, as 49 investors sold LMT shares while 363 reduced holdings. 126 funds opened positions while 368 raised stakes. Nantahala Capital Management Llc, a Connecticut-based fund reported 467,455 shares. 18,600 were accumulated by Tcw Group.

Instagram will now let you break free from the app to post and view Stories from the web.

The move to bring Stories to the web may seem relatively minor, but it broadens access to the feature, including in developing markets. And this expanded reach, in turn, impacts Instagram's bottom line.
