Parents of the fifth standard student alleged that the child was reprimanded even after they had put a note in the school diary explaining why the girl was not able to wear the right uniform, meant for the teachers to read. The incident reportedly took place in a school at BHEL township on Hyderabad outskirts on Saturday and came to light on Sunday when her father released a video clip of the traumatised girl refusing to go to school.
The woman teacher, however, denied the allegations and told mediapersons today that as the girl was not wearing uniform, she only asked her the reason. She asked how can my mom wash uniform on a school working day.
She said she got scared and did not say anything.
"Some students from Class 4 saw me in the washroom and laughed at me". "The PT teacher caught me on my way to my class on the first floor". She even told her parents that she will learn to cook, wash clothes and help her mother if she's allowed to stay home.
