The North's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Saturday that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un inspected the launch on site.

The UNSC will hold an emergency meeting on Friday concerning North Korea's latest missile launch over Japan, the council presidency announced.

Kim Jong-Un said. "We should clearly show the great-power chauvinists how our state attains the goal of completing its nuclear force despite their limitless sanctions and blockade".

In a major show of defiance to the worldwide community, North Korea fired another ballistic missile over Japan on Friday, creating new tension in the region after its nuclear bomb test less than two weeks ago.

McMaster called for "rigorous enforcement" by all United Nations member states of sanctions imposed by the Security Council on North Korea, including the latest package that for the first time capped the oil supply to the country.

While the North has refused to accept South Korean offers of dialogue, Kim's remarks made it clear Pyongyang wants Washington's respect.

"What's different about this approach is we're out of time", McMaster said about USA efforts to get Kim to abandon his nuclear weapons program and missile tests.

"We called on our USA partners and others to implement political and diplomatic solutions that are provided for in the resolution", he said.

Evian Championship: Moriya Jutanugarn hopes to emulate sister
Park had been six over through just five holes in the rain and wind before play was abandoned and all scores wiped. Playing in her final tournament before retirement, Japan's Ai Miyazato made a great start with a 68.

China's Ambassador to the United States had a similiar message after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on September 14 called for more "direct actions" by Beijing and Moscow against North Korea. "We can never tolerate that North Korea trampled on the worldwide community's strong, united resolve toward peace", Abe said.

It reached an altitude of about 770km and flew for about 19 minutes over a distance of about 3,700km, South Korea's military said.

Tokyo: Prime minister Shinzo Abe on Friday said that Japan would "never tolerate" what he called North Korea's unsafe provocative action that threatens world peace. That means it had the capacity to reach the USA territory of Guam. He called on the North leadership to comply with the relevant Security Council resolutions.

"After seeing our capabilities, I am more confident than ever that our options are not only effective but overwhelming", he said.

After North fired another missile, the USA suggested that its patience for diplomacy with Pyongyang is running out.

"For those ... who have been commenting on a lack of a military option, there is a military option", he said, adding that it would not be the Trump administration's preferred choice. China and Russian Federation have also repeatedly called for the exercises to be halted, in exchange for the freezing of more nuclear tests by the DPRK.

China, North Korea's ideological ally, called the missle test "a violation of UN Security Council resolutions".
