To receive the free items during Halloween Scream, players need to log into multiplayer between Monday and Friday morning while online and visit the Quartermaster. Starting with the first chapter, Zombies in Spaceland, with two of the following chapters becoming available each week until the final battle in The Beast from Beyond.

Elsewhere, Gesture Warfare mode, in which teams attempt to fell opponents using weaponised gestures, is briefly back until October 12th, and the Carnage map from Infinite Warfare's Retribution DLC will be playable for everyone, with double XP rewards. The following day, developer Infinity Ward will introduce Boss Battle mode, which allows players to jump right into battles against the final bosses from the various Zombies DLC chapters. If you play the game on this map, you'll get double XP as well.
