Linkin Park's Carpool Karaoke drops online 'dedicated to the memory of Chester Bennington'

Chester Bennington’s last interview has dropped

Chester Bennington, Linkin Park, and Ken Jeong in "Carpool Karaoke". The episode was not initially set to air out of respect for Bennington's wife and family, but it was finally decided it was time to see the fun-filled and enjoyable show starring the late singer.

The band is now streaming the episode, which is dedicated to Bennington, on their Facebook page.

Bennington, Mike Shinoda, and Joe Hahn filmed their ride through Los Angeles with comedian Ken Jeong, a self-professed Linkin Park fanatic.

The Carpool Karaoke video, which was taped on July 14, begins with a message that reads, "With the blessing of Chester's family and his bandmates, we share this episode and dedicate it to the memory of Chester".

The bittersweet episode, which was taped a week before 41-year-old Bennington committed suicide, opens with Jeong getting into the front seat of the auto and asking if he can join the rock band. The cause of death was established by the L.A. County Coroner's office to be suicide by hanging.

Linkin Park will play its first show in memory of Chester Bennington at The Hollywood Bowl on October 27.
