The Star Wars limited edition version of Samsung's POWERbot VR7000 is being released ahead of the upcoming Star Wars film, The Last Jedi, due to turn cinemas into bastions for Skywalker fans in December.

There is one key difference that sets these models apart from the standard Samsung PowerBot vacuum, though - they come pre-loaded with Star Wars phrases and music that will play as they clean. The Darth Vader version, for example, makes the breathing sounds so synonymous with the Sith lord.

Both models are now available for pre-order from Samsung's website for $799 (around £600) and they're expected to ship from the week beginning November 6. (R2-D2 screwdriver, anyone?) The VR7000 robot vacuum cleaner is offered in two different styles, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper.

The Darth Vader model comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and its own remote control.

There's nothing new other than the cosmetic changes. They feature Samsung's proprietary (and aptly named) CycloneForce and Edge Clean Master tech to clean close to walls and edges.

Both versions are now available via pre-order and will begin shipping out on November 5. The Visionary Mapping Plus feature enables the vacuum to work autonomously by mapping the room and finding the fastest cleaning routes. The Darth Vader edition sells for $799, while the Stormtrooper version is priced at $699.
