Mum jailed for not vaccinating son is outraged he's been immunised

The Michigan mother who was sentenced to seven days in jail for not vaccinating her son has now lost primary custody of him. After she defied the judge's order, she served a five-day jail term, according to U.S.A. Today.

Mr Horne was granted joint custody of the boy on Ms Bredow's release earlier this week.

When Bredow was first issued to court order last month, giving her seven days to vaccinate her son or face jail time, she defiantly told local news station WXYZ: "I would rather sit behind bars standing up for what I believe in, than giving in to something I strongly don't believe in".

The recommendation will go into effect starting this weekend, but she has 21 days to appeal the Friend of the Court's decision.

"It was the worst five days of my life, except for the fact that I just found out that he was vaccinated and I'm not going to get him back today", Bredow said. "I'm a passionate mother who cares deeply about my children, their health and their well being".

Sharif's lawyer Khawaja Harris asked the court to adjourn hearing for 15 days with commitment that Sharif would also appear. Meanwhile, the accountability court has ordered inquiry of the incident on the application filed by Advocate Naeem Gujar.

Bredow said it was "against her beliefs" to vaccinate her children.

The specific reason that Bredow was in contempt of court is that she had consented to have her son vaccinated in court pleadings late past year, although Vitale says that those pleadings were filed "in error", according to USA Today.

In court on Wednesday, a judge ruled the child's father, James Horne, will now take over primary custody.

Judge Karen McDonald interrupted her plea in court saying that Bredow wasn't telling the entire truth.

Her ex-husband, Jason Horne, chose to abide by the court order and had their son vaccinated on Monday. "Even if you agree to them, which you did".
