Quentin Tarantino, 'stunned and heartbroken,' still processing Weinstein mess

United States banking giant Goldman Sachs has confirmed it is "exploring options" for its near $1 million (£752,000) stake in the Weinstein Company amid growing allegations of sexual assault by film producer Harvey Weinstein.

Weinstein and Tarantino have worked together since the former distributed the latter's 1992 breakout film Reservoir Dogs.

In a statement shared via Amber Tamblyn's Twitter, Tarantino says he has been "stunned and heartbroken" over all of the allegations, and will make a public statement soon. And Tarantino has been working on a movie about the Manson Family murders, which the Weinstein Company was set to produce.

British and USA police have now opened investigations into the film producer, though Mr Weinstein has denied any allegations of non-consensual sex.

Weinstein has denied any wrongdoing, with a spokeswoman for Weinstein saying: "Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr Weinstein..."
