Tagbo's body was dumped in a Toyota Camry auto in front of the Lagos Island General Hospital by yet to be identified persons. Two other associates of the singer, DJ Olu, 25, and Chime Amaechi, were found lifeless in the former's BMW auto parked in the underground garage of Block B, Banana Island, Lagos on Saturday, three days after Tagbo's death. In attendance were all parties including family, friends of the deceased, those of Davido, Caroline Danjuma, the DPO and investigating officers. The statement also says the Police Commissioner's quote that Davido has a case to answer in the matter has caused him a lot of embarrassment. Their bodies were discovered on October 7 in a BMW parked in a private residence in the ultra-chic Lagos area Banana Island.
In a video published on his Instagram account on Wednesday, Davido denounced "lies everywhere" after internet rumours about the deaths.
