Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says France midfielder N'Golo Kante will be sidelined for three weeks after suffering a hamstring injury on global duty.
Spain striker Morata has been battling to make a swift recovery from a hamstring injury during the worldwide break after limping out of Chelsea's 1-0 loss to Manchester City, while Kante picked up his problem on France duty last week.
Conte admits the 26-year-old's absence will be a "big loss" for the Premier League champions and predicts the midfielder will be in a race to be fit for the Premier League fixture against Jose Mourinho's side at Stamford Bridge on November 5.
"The previous scan [was] maybe 20, 25 days [out of action]".
Conte says that the Kante needs to undergo a second scan to address the issue but initial tests suggests that he will be out for the remainder of October.
"Kante is going to do another scan next week to check if his situation is improving. We must have patience with him, with his calf problem", the Chelsea boss added when asked about the recovery of the England global.
