The changes are live on the web version of Google Calendar right now for anyone who wants to opt-in. There's a new Event Detail view in which these Calendar invites can be directly opened. Google has also updated some of its features-and that of course, means you can now view more details about your organization's meeting rooms-and that of course, is even more important if you work in a major organization. That means a fresh new color palette and a design that's in line with Google's Material Design scheme, but also - and more importantly - a responsive layout that smartly adjusts your calendar to the size of your browser window. When scheduling multiple people for a meeting, for example, this view will make possible to visualize which time blocks all of the employees have available, making the process more efficient overall. The new Calendar is scheduled to automatically roll out November 14 for Rapid Release domains and on November 28 for Scheduled Release domains, according to a Google blog post. Users can hover their mouse over the calendar event and see the pertinent information.
Joining this is a "Day" view option for seeing multiple calendars at once side-by-side. This can help you create more detailed agendas and ensure all materials are in one place before your meeting starts. Plus, if you accidentally delete a meeting invite, you can easily restore it. "Additionally, "Day", "Week", and "Month" views are now more accessible, featuring better compatibility with screen readers".
