WhatsApp says that this latest feature is coming to both Android and iOS and will be rolling out over the "coming weeks". You open a chat with the person you want to share your location with - the feature also supports groups, too - and from there, you open the "Location" option within the attach section and click the new "Share Live Location". Live location sharing is end-to-end encrypted and you can control who to share with and for how long.
Live-location sharing means that the other person can keep a track of your movement in real-time, which means if you are going towards any direction then the other person can even guide you the way to a certain place with just simple directions. And if more than one person shares their Live Location in the group, all locations will be visible on the same map.
