As he finished up the final frame of the match, O'Sullivan's game was interrupted by a woman who had evaded security to enter the arena.

She jogged around the table, as both a security guard and the referee tried to usher her away, while O'Sullivan nonchalantly potted the pink despite the commotion.

O'Sullivan responded in good spirit, allowing the woman to have a go at potting the last black, which she missed on two occasions.

Her practice playing pool in Benidorm didn't pay off though, as her skills weren't up to standard and she fluffed her lines the first time around, as Ronnie watched on with a big grin on his face.

NHL: Duluth's Forbort signs extension with Kings
The Kings threw a wheelbarrow full of pucks at Montreal Canadiens backup goalie Al Montoya and still had one goal to show for it. With Carter out, the Kings will need players to step up if they want to build on their excellent start to the season.

Mark Selby and John Higgins also eased through, whilst Mark Williams saw off the threat of Luca Brecel in the most eye-catching tie of the round. The Rocket, however, defended his actions saying that he only did so because of ankle injury he was carrying.

"World Snooker has a dress code for all tournaments, but where players are injured they are given the opportunity to demonstrate medical reasons to show why they can not adhere to certain parts of the dress code", the statement said.

In response, O'Sulivan threatened to pull out of tournament and posted a picture of his injured ankle on Twitter.

Ronnie has been hitting the headlines throughout this tournament, mainly because he's been allowed to wear trainers at the table following on from a nasty ankle injury.
