The 'Strange' Reason One of the 'Stranger Things' Stars Missed the Premiere Party

Charlie Heaton, a star of the hit Netflix show "Stranger Things", was denied entry into the USA last week after trace amounts of cocaine were found in his luggage when he arrived in Los Angeles.

According to The Sun, sniffer dogs at LAX airport caught the 23-year-old, border officials finding a "very small amount" of a white powder on his person.

One of the stars of the Netflix hit "Stranger Things" reportedly missed the show's season two premiere party Thursday night in Los Angeles because he was denied entry into the U.S.

A source told the United Kingdom paper The Sun that Heaton wasn't charged but couldn't stay in the country.

Heaton was sent back to the United Kingdom after the discovery, forcing him to miss the premiere.

A spokesperson for the actor said: "I have no comment to make".

It is also now feared that Heaton could be barred from entering the USA in future meaning he could struggle to take part in filming for Stranger Things.

"If you are a foreign national and it is a large amount of drugs you may be charged".

Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers on the hit Netflix show (which released its hotly-anticipated second season yesterday), was denied entry to the U.S. by airport officials after traces of the drug were discovered in his luggage.
