The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in NY has scheduled a three-judge panel to hear Ezekiel Elliott's request for an injunction on Thursday at 2 p.m. This is something I'm going to have to live with beyond football.
Elliott received a six-game suspension on August 11 for a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy related to domestic violence allegations by a former girlfriend.

Kevin Spacey seeking treatment after sexual assault allegation
Spacey has apologized to actor Anthony Rapp , who had accused the Hollywood star of trying to seduce him in 1986, when Rapp was 14.
Elliott has repeatedly denied that he assaulted his then-girlfriend, although his comments from the team's training facility in Frisco, Tex., were among his most forceful on the subject. The Columbus City Attorney's Office declined to prosecute Elliott for those same allegations and Elliott's defense contests that the National Football League ignored exculpatory evidence. The NFL appealed to a federal appeals court in New Orleans, which overturned the injunction and ruled that the district court in Texas didn't have jurisdiction in the case because the union filed its lawsuit before NFL-appointed arbitrator Harold Henderson decided Elliott's appeal.
"We note that the issuance of an administrative stay does not constitute a resolution on the merits", Susan L. Carney, a judge on the 2nd Circuit, wrote in Friday's filing. Since the stay did not come with an end date, Elliott will be eligible to play until the court makes a final ruling.
The case will be heard in Judge Katherine Polk Failla's courtroom.
