The charge is a Class B felony, Clifford was scheduled to appear November 8 in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North.

Clifford's roommate, Cara Murray, claimed that Clifford put the ferret, Angel, in the oven and turned on the heat.

The fire alarm sounded just after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on the third floor of an apartment building at 80 Lowell St. Clifford's roommate, Kara Murray, told NBC Boston smoke was pouring from her oven. They told police that they had a temporary guest. "How can someone be so cruel to [put] an animal in your oven and cooking it alive..."

"Losing a ferret is like losing a kid or a family member", she added through tears. "I just can't believe she did that". Murray added that Clifford had been angry over stolen clothes.

"If she can throw a live ferret in the oven, what makes you think she won't throw a baby in the oven if it cries?"

Officers arrested Clifford, who told them she killed the pet in revenge for Murray stealing her clothes, but Murray says Clifford baked Angel to death because the ferret nipped the woman.

Topshop announces gender neutral changing rooms after complaint from trans customer
Topshop later contacted another customer and reiterated their policy that all changing rooms were available for everyone. Travis added: "I normally online shop for this reason".

Clifford was charged with animal cruelty and is being held on $10,000 bail. "It was just devastating", Murray told WHDH.

For Murray and her boyfriend, the loss is an unthinkable one. That is of deep concern to this court.

If Clifford is able to come up with the $10,000 cash, she must adhere to specific bail conditions.

Ivana Clifford observed fleeing the apartment when police arrived.

"My boyfriend opened it and there was a dead ferret inside the oven", she said. I just don't understand. It's disturbing. It's emotional.

Firefighters cleared the building and found the ferret. She can have no contact with Murray or Klimavich or any domestic animal.
