GETTY Naby Keita has hailed future Liverpool team-mate Sadio Mane

The attacker played his first match in nearly a month as Liverpool beat West ham 4-1 in their last outing.

He subsequently jetted off for duty with Senegal, where he set up Diafra Sakho's goal in the 2-0 win over South Africa, but has now returned to Liverpool for treatment after complaining of discomfort in his hamstring.

Sadio Mane has returned to Liverpool after complaining of a minor hamstring problem, the Senegal national team have confirmed.

Mane has only recently returned from a separate injury he sustained during the previous global break, but Liverpool are once again sweating over the fitness of one of their key players.

The 25-year-old played the full 90 minutes for his national team as they booked a place in next summer's football showiece event in Russian Federation with a 2-0 win.

Mane's return to action against the Hammers was well ahead of schedule, so it's not a bad idea to send him back to Liverpool's doctors.

Liverpool are fifth in the league, and host Mané's former club Southampton, who are 13th, on Saturday.
