Atlanta Journal Constituion reports that Atlanta police officer Lisa Bender said two people got "rowdy" and climbed onto the stage in between sets, and that "another patron took issue and an argument ensued".

Investigators said a lone man approached two others and fired his gun, appearing to target them. Police quickly responded to calls about a shooting at the venue. The gunman drew a pistol and shot the guys who had climbed on to the stage.

Police found one of the victims dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the chest. The second victim was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital of upper and lower torso wounds. At last check they were in stable condition. Authorities are also asking for witnesses to come forward with any information that they might have concerning the perpetrator. "I'm in shock and at a loss of words for the senseless violence".

This incident at the Stizz show is just the latest in what feels like a barrage of violent outburst across several American states.
