Shaun Platt, 26, told the Dallas Morning News that he was also slapped and berated by Dallas County Assistant District Attorney Jody Warner, 32, as he drove her home late Friday after picking her up at Capitol Pub in Old East Dallas.
Platt told Dallas police that Warner appeared intoxicated when he picked her up at a Dallas bar Saturday night. He claims she threatened him and hit him, and said she was an assistant district attorney.
When he stopped and ordered her from the vehicle, she refused to leave until a police unit called by Platt arrived.
Despite what may or may not have happened Friday night, Warner was sacked from her job by Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson on Monday afternoon. Johnson issued a statement which said, "Her behavior is contrary to this office's core principle of integrity, and it will not be tolerated". "I encourage you, the public, to look beyond this incident and recognize that our prosecutors work hard each day to seek justice on your behalf", Johnson said.
"Under the law you are recklessly keeping me from where I was going so you are kidnapping me", she says.
Warner was not charged.
The announcement follows an earlier declaration by the District Attorney's Office that it was investigating the incident, part of which had been recorded. "You had the opportunity to take me home". Jesus Christ, you're a f--- idiot in a stupid f-- hat.

IEA says hopes of higher, stable oil prices could be dashed quickly
OPEC says that "The global economic growth dynamic has continued its broad-based and relatively strong momentum", OPEC said. That will keep prices down and help make the United States a net exporter of oil - in addition to gas - by the late 2020s.
According to the driver, Warner got agitated when she felt the route the driver was taking was incorrect.
The officer returned and Platt said he was afraid of being arrested. It was insane... She can't treat people like that just because I'm not a doctor or a lawyer or someone she hangs around. "Just take me home, dude". But the cop and Warner, who was 'let off the hook, ' left in a police vehicle, he told the Dallas Morning News.
Warner did, however, say that Platt made "some accusations against me that are not true".
When police came, they put the woman in the cruiser but did not charge her. Platt says police asked him, "You good?" and Platt replied he guessed that he was.
"There's two sides to every event", Schulte tweeted.
Assistant District Attorney Jody Warner was sacked Monday over the Friday night incident.
Warner worked for the district attorney's office for six years and prosecuted cases in the crimes against children unit. He says she refused to respond to follow-up questions on where to drive, became "increasingly angry" and hurled insults. But the law enforcement official simply asked him if he "was good" and when Platt reluctantly confirmed that he was, Warner left with the officer in his vehicle. "I think this might be kidnapping right now, actually".
