A woman was allegedly molested by a driver attached to cab aggregator Ola en route for her residence in Bengaluru recently.

The accused committed the act after locking her inside the vehicle using child lock.

The spokesperson also urged the customer to lodge a formal complaint with the authorities. The incident took place at Sunday night around 10.30 pm.

According to the woman, the vehicle had reached the intermediate Ring Road on the way to Koramangala when the driver stopped the auto by the roadside. And Rajashekar Reddy had a 4.9/5 rating, which is considered very good. However, she did not file a formal complaint with the police, an ANI report said.

A police officer is said to have spoken to Reddy, who defended himself saying that he had only tried to reach back to help her open the door which was child-locked. I warned him and tried to damage the auto.

The woman, however, alleged that Ola did not inform her about the action it took against the driver.

Ola said in a statement on Wednesday that it had zero tolerance to such incidents and the driver had been suspended on receiving the complaint. Even now they haven't told me what action has been taken.
