In the moments that followed the injury, it was evident that there was immediate concern for the Irish worldwide and, after Brady was stretchered off the pitch, Burnley manager Sean Dyche stated that he instantly had the feeling that the injury was "more serious than not serious".

Brady lasted less than half an hour of Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, and was stretchered off following a heavy collision. No time frame was placed on his rehabilitation.
