Its investments include adding a loyalty program, beefing up technology and rolling out delivery boxes created to keep pizzas hotter. The Yum Brands company started Tuesday testing beer delivery in Phoenix.

Pizza Hut's beer delivery menu in Phoenix includes six packs of Budweiser, Bud Light, Shock Top and Kilt Lifter, a local brew. The company hasn't decided which wines will be available for delivery, or whether it will offer full bottles or single serving options.

Want some beer with your pizza?

The company would not reveal to CNN which cities will be next to get delivery service. Of course, individual stores will need to acquire liquor licenses, but a Pizza Hut representative told CNN plenty of locations already have one, so that should not be too big a hurdle in the process.

All drivers who deliver the alcoholic beverages will be at least 21 years old and they'll also make sure to check the customer's identification for age as well.

Customers will be required to show their IDs at the door.

More than 1,700 of Pizza Hut's roughly 7,600 US units already have liquor licenses, the company said.
