Sevilla reveal why Arsenal target N'Zonzi travelled to London

Sevilla: N'Zonzi and Berizzo need to settle differences quickly

Steven N'Zonzi Reportedly Flies into London for Arsenal Transfer Talks

N'Zonzi has attracted interest from Arsenal and Everton in recent months and flew into London this week, sparking further speculation the Frenchman was negotiating a move back to the Premier League.

Football.London had reported that on Tuesday morning, N'Zonzi had jetted into London, which sent the rumour mill into overdrive, surrounding potential talks with the Gunners.

However, N'Zonzi has been dumped out the Sevilla side ever since half-time of their famous comeback against Liverpool in the Champions League.

He travelled to London to visit his son with our permission. Nevertheless, a move from Sevilla in January looks very likely.

"My future is clearly outside of Sevilla, the only thing that disappoints me is the way in which this is finished", said N'Zonzi. Sevilla were 0-3 down at the break but recovered to secure a 3-3 draw.

N'Zonzi has a £35 million release clause in his contract and will be allowed to leave Spain's top flight when that figure is met, although Sevilla could be willing to sell for less than that fee.

The rupture in relations between Steven N'Zonzi and the coaching staff at Sevilla is damaging for both parties, and the club in particular.

Steven N'Zonzi is a quality player and would be a sound addition to the Arsenal squad.
