Far Cry 5 will now be releasing on March 27th, a month after its intended launch, withThe Crew 2 now slated for a 2018-2019 window. Alain Martinez, Chief Financial Officer, talked about the upward trajectory, "Our back-catalog performance throughout November followed the same excellent trends as in the first half of the year and sales for Assassin's Creed Origins continued their positive launch trajectory". The game doesn't necessarily innovate or depart significantly from the tried-and-tested Assassin's Creed formula, but it boasts a level of polish and care that make it one of the best titles the franchise has ever produced. This unknown game is the reason for the delays is to allow developers more time to work on these three games. The company confirmed in a new blog post that bothFar Cry 5 and The Crew 2 have been pushed back, though at least Far Cry's isn't a huge setback.
