Unfortunately, that was the extent of any official details regarding the game. But news on the new game, Cyberpunk 2077, has been hard to come by in recent years, despite the fact that it was originally announced in 2012 and a teaser trailer (above) was released in early 2013. While this may seem like nothing major, Cyberpunk 2077's official Twitter account recently broke the silence by composing its very first tweet since 2013.
After Wild Hunt released to critical and commercial success, the expectations for Cyberpunk 2077 could not be any higher. At least, the Twitter account is active again. It's also possible that they'll reveal more background information about the game and its world via Game Informer, as they've done with their past titles. It's not much, but it's a sign of life and a sign that we may hear news about Cyberpunk 2077 in the near future.
