President Donald Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon was a "bad hire", said former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci in an interview Tuesday.

It marks the end of an extraordinary fall from grace for a figure credited with harnessing the discontent across America to win the White House, but whose grenade-throwing tactics left him with few allies.

Bannon has always seen his own endeavors in grandiose terms.

Under his tenure, the website became even more proactive.

The comments were included in Wolff's recently released book, "Fire and Fury", which has caused a media firestorm for it's questionable claims about Trump's White House.

"'We were running a kind of happy cult when Andrew was in charge, and when Andrew died everyone had an incentive to spin what they thought he was up to", said one former employee. "But that presidency is over".

Ten pages of the search warrant documents remained sealed ahead of a Nevada state court hearing scheduled for Tuesday. However, the agent said authorities hadn't ruled her out as a person of interest. "Try an ar before u buy".

Some conservatives who have worked closely with Bannon were harsh in response, all but writing his political obituary in the hours after the announcement.

Several months into Trump's tenure as President, the controversial political figure was sacked from the White House.

Breitbart News confirmed his departure as chairman on Tuesday.

Reports immediately surfaced that Breitbart executives had begun discussions about life after the man responsible for turning it into a voice of the alt-right. So the president and the machine churn on, while Bannon finds himself on the outside looking in. His main political asset in recent times was simple: his proximity to the president of the United States. Trump and other White House aides have blasted it as inaccurate trash. Bannon spoke to Wolff for the book and called the meeting between Trump campaign officials and a Kremlin-linked lawyer "treasonous".

UPDATED with SiriusXM statement: Two days after finally declaring that he regretted delaying responding to his verbal bombshells and insider revelations in Michael Wolff's best-selling book Fire and Fury, Steve Bannon is old news at Breitbart News.

Mr Bannon's time in the White House was marked by feuds, leaking against colleagues and triumphalism. "When he was sacked, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind". "Their path to f****** Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jnr and Jared Kushner ..." Mercer, the daughter of billionaire conservative donor Robert Mercer, is a significant shareholder in Breitbart. But this is absolutely true, that Steve Bannon is responsible for Donald Trump's election.
