Detective Pikachu Amiibo is a Must-Have Addition to Your Collection

Detective Pikachu is Coming Across the Sea

Detective Pikachu is the newest confirmed Nintendo amiibo in months

The new model is much more up close and personal as opposed to the other Pikachu 3DS models that have been released since the 3DS first came out back in 2011.

Detective Pikachu will also incorporate a huge amiibo near its release, unlocking short videos that will offer up hints to progress your ongoing investigations. The game focuses on the player, who works with a talking Pikachu detective in order to solve a mystery happening in their town. Together, Tim and Detective Pikachu will encounter a number of mysteries in Ryme City and will need to talk to witnesses and gather their testimony in order to discover the truth.

You might want to hold off a bit until the end of the month, when you can pick up the upcoming Nintendo 2DS XL Pikachu Edition, with a stylized Pikachu adorning its lid.

Giving your pets a raw meat diet isn't a good idea
Eight products contained Sarcocystes parasites and two products (6 percent) contained Toxoplasma gondii parasites. This isn't the first time researchers have warned pet owners against raw meat-based diets.

Japan, China spat over disputed islets in East China Sea
Japan has complained to China after a pair of the country's vessels sailed this week near disputed islands in the East China Sea. It then re-entered the contiguous zone around Taisho Island, which is part of the Senkakus, before leaving that afternoon.

Joey Barton: Manchester City can break unwanted record against Liverpool
The Gunners will try to pick up a road win going off as -145 road favorites Sunday at Bournemouth (+355 to win, +500 to draw). City continue to lead the way in England's top-flight, with a gap of 14 points between themselves and Manchester United.

This Detective Pikachu amiibo comes in at $30, which makes sense given the size increase. There was also a 40,000-strong petition to get Danny DeVito to do the voiceover for the English version of the game but, as you can hear in the trailer below, he said no. The closest we have to an explanation is that Detective Pikachu is a "special" Pokémon. Also, Nintendo is releasing an absolutely very big amiibo alongside the game. Detective Pikachu will hopefully get to the bottom of Nintendo's long running amiibo stock issues when the game releases for North America and Europe on March 23.
