Girl Scout cookie season is here to break your New Year's resolutions - but this year you can feel good about it.

It's that time of year, again.

If you're not in the San Jacinto area, however, there are plenty of ways to give back while getting your cookie fix this year. In 1935, the Girl Scout cookie first started appearing on cookie boxes and commercial bakers helped to meet growing demands in 1936 with cookie sales going coast to coast in the USA in 1937. "So with Baxter's help we made a decision to do it again this year", explained Peterson.

The Cookies-4-Heroes program has been used by other troops, like the Girl Scouts of CT who host a website allowing online purchases to be sent to military men and women both domestic and overseas. Girls and their troops decide how to spend their troop proceeds, investing in impactful community projects, personal enrichment opportunities and more.
