At 11:58 a.m. Wednesday the Kansas Lottery will announce the Holiday Millionaire Raffle number that's worth $1 million to the person who has the ticket.

According to the Irish Times, the former Republic of Ireland under-21 global received the winning ticket in the post from his godfather and uncle Peadar Murphy, a native of Castlebridge, County Wexford.

One ticket is a $1 million victor, while 4,259 other tickets also won prizes. He really did have the best of luck, because he won the €1 million prize.

O'Connor had been given the winning ticket as a Christmas present from his uncle, who picked up the lucky stub at Flanagan's Centra Supermarket on December 14.
