Supporters of President Jacob Zuma are demanding that ANC MP Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma be appointed as the interim president as one of the conditions for him to step down.

Earlier on Friday reports claimed that Zuma had provided key members of the ANC with a list of requirements if he were to step down as president of South Africa.

Political analyst Lukhona Mnguni believes the option to appoint Dlamini Zuma as interim president should not be presented along factional lines.

But on Tuesday night, on the eve of the meeting, Zuma announced that he would establish a commission of inquiry into state capture.

Another NEC meeting is expected in the next few weeks.

Magashule also confirmed that Zuma will attend the ANC's 106th anniversary celebration on Saturday.

AdultSwine's third malicious activity is to charge the victim's account for fraudulent premium services they did not request. Check Point says the "malicious code's own ad library... contains ads of an offensive nature, including pornographic ads".

Some NEC members had earlier told News24 that they want Ramaphosa, who now serves as Zuma's deputy in government, to take over from him.

"There is no substance to the fact that the former chairperson of the AU will be the president".

ANC NEC members who spoke to the newspaper on condition of anonymity says the talks have now ground to a halt. "In keeping with this tradition we were instructed by Mamu Nosizwe [Graca Machel] to receive and host the delegation led by newly elected ANC president comrade Cyril Ramaphosa". The statement, drafted by the NEC and delivered by the party president, sets the tone for the year and influences the State Of the Nation Address.

"The NEC was emphatic that we must urgently implement the resolution to pursue expropriation of land without compensation with due regard to safeguarding and growing the agricultural sector and ensuring food security‚" Magashule said.

The secretary general and treasurer general positions are fulltime and are based at ANC headquarters Luthuli House.
