Prepare to die all over again in 'Dark Souls: Remastered'

This was similar to what they did with the PC version of the game which was released in 2011 called "Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition". The project was first unveiled as part of a last-minute Nintendo Direct, but it has since been announced that the game will hit the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, also. However, the game is yet to be released on current hardware, save for backward compatibility on the Xbox One. It will also feature improved framerate (60FPS) and 4K resolution when playing on a PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC, something original PS3 players will agree is badly needed.

This marks the first time the Souls series has appeared on Nintendo hardware. Up to six players can join together online to help, or hurt, each other throughout their quest.

Following some quite frankly overwhelming and confusing reactions on the internet, we've finally received confirmation through Nintendo's Mini Direct that Dark Souls would be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the form of Dark Souls Remastered.
