A 23-year-old man will re-appear in court on January 31 after he was charged with the murder of the 21-year-old cousin of the Barbados born global singer, Rihanna, last month. It was in February that Rihanna's cousin had posted a warm message under a photo of Rihanna and himself captioning it as "celebrating the singer's 29th birthday".
Rihanna also shared a video on Instagram showing Alleyne smiling and telling the camera, "It's nice to wake up and see all of your brothers and sisters".
A man was arrested and charged with fatally shooting Rihanna's cousin in Barbados last week, according to local reports. They were 23 gun-related murders previous year.
'I never thought the day would come that I would have to bury you my love, omggg!' Tanella wrote.
As for what happened on that fateful day, it's believed that Rihanna's cousin, Alleyne, was walking through a track near his home at Lakes Close, Eden Lodge, St Michael, when he was approached by a man (Williams) who shot him multiple times, then fled the scene.
