Navy doctor Ronny Jackson said at a press conference in the White House that Donald Trump received a flawless score on a test created to detect early signs of memory loss and other mild cognitive impairment.
Trump described the book as "full of lies", and described himself as "a very stable genius".
It's worth noting Jackson was appointed as the president's physician by Obama, and began work at the White House in 2006 under the Bush administration. The 10-minute exam is created to detect mild cognitive impairment, such as dementia, generally in older patients.
Dr Jackson said: 'If he had some kind of mental cognitive issue he would not have got 30 out of 30 on the test.
"When I asked him specifically about that test, he did then concede that, in fact, the president does have heart disease".

According to Jackson, Trump weighs 239 pounds and is 6 feet, 3 inches tall.

And, now that his team is one win away from reaching the Super Bowl in just his second season, it anytime soon. Minnesota is favored by 3 this week, and we are talking about a pair of games played on the Eagles' home turf.
Questions mount over the United States president's mental fitness.
Mr Trump's exercise revolves around golf and he has a well-documented love of fast food.
He said that he recommended that the president eat a healthier diet, exercise regularly and lose 10 to 15 pounds.

"We checked everything out and everything was normal", he said. Petersen said he could not comment specifically on the president's cognitive health.
Because of the Sudafed, Dr. Jackson said - as Sarah Huckabee Sanders has before - Trump's throat was "dried up".
Several cardiologists said the president's weight and diet were a serious problem that likely contributed to his high LDL level and increased his risk for heart problems. Add Donald Trump as an interest to stay up to date on the latest Donald Trump news, video, and analysis from ABC News.
