All Air Force Academy athletic events canceled due to shutdown

The Academy said that should a solution be reached, they will work to reschedule as many missed events as possible.

Air Force is scheduled to play Utah State in Logan, Utah, on Wednesday, January 24. Until a solution can be reached by the American government, all Air Force home and away games have been cancelled.

The Air Force Academy had sporting events in men's and women's swimming, men's and women's basketball, men's ice hockey and men's gymnastics scheduled on Saturday.

Due to the shutdown, the Air Force Academy announced that they are canceling all athletics "until further notice" but it seems like it will be the case through the duration of the shutdown.

Army athletics is not affected by the shutdown.
