The Raiders now have 11 selections in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The NFL released its compensation picks for the 2018 NFL draft, and as expected the Patriots got one.

The NFL awards compensatory picks based on free-agent departures the previous spring.

Last year, the Patriots lost Martellus Bennett, Chris Long, Logan Ryan, LeGarrette Blount, Jabaal Sheard, Barkevious Mingo and Michael Floyd.

The new pick comes just one spot from the end of the entire draft, at number 255 overall. They signed Stephon Gilmore, Lawrence Guy, and Rex Burkhead. They already had one pick each in the second, third, fifth and sixth rounds.

The last time Tampa Bay owned a compensatory pick, in 2011, it was a seventh-rounder that was used on Idaho tight end Daniel Hardy, who did not make the team. Instead, the Packers received the top compensatory pick in the fourth round. Of course, the recently announced Marcus Peters trade will also give them more draft assets when the final details come through, but for now the Chiefs know they have six total picks, including a second round pick, two third round picks and now these three Day 3 choices.

Cincinnati, Dallas, Green Bay and Oakland all have four.

Compensatory picks can be traded, and with 10 selections and almost $26 million in projected salary cap space, the Broncos have options as they begin to retool their roster.
