Huawei introduced its latest mid-range and affordable smartphone, the Huawei Y9 (2018). The company has announced this smartphone today in Thailand.

Huawei has three smartphones with Kirin 659 SoC in the Indian market, and the Y9 (2018) features specifications similar to the Honor 7X.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone, running the EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. This is the highest capacity battery used by Huawei in all of its mid-range smartphones. The device is designed with metal body with added durability.

For now, we have no information about availability in other countries but we should expect. Price of the smartphone is yet to be announced, however, it is likely to cost somewhere around 200 Euros (approximately Rs 16,000).
