He will participate in the Iran-Pakistan Joint Economic Forum.

The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mehdi Honardoost, has said while addressing a press conference here on Saturday that the Iranian foreign minister will undertake a 4- day visit of Pakistan from (today) 11th March.

He was warmly welcomed by senior officials of Foreign Ministry at Islamabad Airport.

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif has stressed to develop favorable environment for trade between Pakistan and Iran.

Zarif is scheduled to hold official talks with his Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Asif later on Monday on key issues, focusing on anti-terror cooperation, border security and economic issues, official sources said.

"Pakistan and Iran as the two neighbouring Countries can make important contribution for achieving this objective", he said.
