Planet Alpha is an Upcoming Sci-Fi Platformer From Former IO Dev

As mentioned earlier, Planet Alpha does not have a release date, although its Steam page has revealed that the game is anticipating a Q3 release.

A project years in the making, Planet Alpha is the result of an idea from Adrian Lazar, an artist who previously worked at IO Interactive. Together with the Planet Alpha developers, Team 17 officially took the wraps off the game with a jaw-dropping announcement trailer.

In Planet Alpha, uou awake on a unusual alien world that is home to many mysterious, exotic flora and fauna.

The game combines platforming, puzzles, and stealth, and revolves around waking up on an alien planet, eventually discovering you have the ability to rotate and control the planet. Since leaving in 2015 he's been working on this game with a small team to support him along the way. We are building something special and we're putting everything we have into it. "I can not wait to share our creation with the world", says Adrian Lazar, via press release.
