Warner Bros. Animation announced this week that Cage will voice Superman in a cameo role for the upcoming Teen Titans Go! movie.

As you know, Nicolas Cage was cast to play Superman in the never-made, live-action film "Superman Lives" back in the late 1990s.

Nicolas Cage will finally have a chance to play the Man of Steel.

In the case of Cage, other than Ryan Reynolds, he is a comic book fanboy at heart and is definitely a fan of Superman.

Teen Titans GO! to the Movies is directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, written by Horvath and Michael Jelenic. Cage's Superman fandom isn't much of a secret; he once owned a rare copy of the hero's 1938 debut comic, and he named his son Kal-El in honor of Superman's Kryptonian name.

Teen Titans GO! has done well for a revamped version of the Teen Titans original show many fans were devastated to see, well, go, and has quickly become such a success a movie has been given the green light.
