It was Australia's first Winter Paralympic gold in 16 years.

Davenport native Kevin McKee had two assists as the U.S. Paralympic sled hockey team beat the Czech Republic 10-0 in its second preliminary round game of the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in Gangneung, South Korea.

He finished in 2:13.49 seconds.

With Whitehorse's Graham Nishikawa and Russell Kennedy of Canmore splitting the race as his guide, McKeever won a Canadian record 14th Paralympic medal and 11th gold.

Calgary's Alana Ramsay, 24, won women's bronze in 1:35:20 in the women's sitting super-G ski race for her first Paralympic medal.
