iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition are the latest in a long-running line of (PRODUCT) RED Apple products, with a portion of proceeds going directly to Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants. RED iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are noticeably different from the (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 and 7 Plus devices.
The special edition iPhone will be available to order online tomorrow and in stores beginning Friday, April 13 with prices starting at $699 for the 64GB model.

On that note, Apple should really just release these Product RED iPhones at launch each September and move out of this mid-cycle pattern. Of course, we also would've loved to see a Product Red iPhone X, but that didn't happen, unfortunately. They'd sell more, and existing iPhone 8 owners wouldn't be stuck with that "welp, I wish I had the red one" feeling.
