The Central Board of Secondary Education on Thursday told Delhi high court that it decided not to hold re-test of the leaked Class 10 paper "in the larger interest of children" and the limited impact of the leak.
Earlier on Monday, the three accused arrested in class 12 Economics paper leak case to Una in Himachal Pradesh to reconstruct the sequence of all the events and pose questions for some more people there, sources said. A huge furore broke after the paper leak last month.
A Special Investigation Team of the Delhi Police had on April 07 arrested Rakes Kumar, Amit Sharma, a clerk and Ashok Kumar, a support staff, of the private school in Himachal Pradesh. "Accordingly, evaluation of class 10 Mathematics was taken up and same did not indicate spikes or unusual patterns, giving any impression of widespread benefits of the alleged paper leak". Cops are likely to book Sharma for class 10 paper leak as well.
The manager was the custodian of the question papers and was supposed to be present when the papers were handed over to Rakesh by the cashier Om Prakash, but both failed in their duty and allegedly violated CBSE guidelines, police said.

Police have clarified that so far, no monetary angle has come up as a motive for leaking either of the two papers. The SIT had found out that the Class XII Economics paper was leaked in handwritten format two days before the exam took place on March 26. "The woman is Manju Bala (name changed)", said Alok Kumar, Joint CP (Crime) of the Delhi Police.
The first case of CBSE paper leak was lodged on March 27 and the other pertaining to the mathematics paper was lodged on March 28, following a complaint by the regional director of the CBSE.
