SEGA Announces Sega Ages for Nintendo Switch

During a live Twitch presentation in Tokyo this morning, Sega announced that a download-only selection of 15 titles under the name SEGA AGES will be making their way to Switch in the summer.

The same festival also saw the announcement of a Mega Drive/Genesis mini console, and a new title in the Sakura Taisen/Wars franchise was announced for a 2019 release with no platforms identified.

The second announcement will bring a smile on the lips of many.

Those who have enjoyed the SEGA Ages releases over the years either on PS2 or the most recent 3DS entries, they certainly know that M2 never ceases to disappoint. The reassurance from Mullen that we'll see some "eclectic arcade titles" is nice, too, promising that even die-hard Sega fans might find some brand new old games to mix with their favorites.
