Trump again calls Comey a 'slimeball' ahead of book release

President Donald Trump is again calling former FBI Director James Comey a "slimeball" ahead of the publication of his new book and an exclusive interview with ABC News Sunday night.

When Comey first brought up the dossier after an intelligence meeting, Trump reportedly interrupted Comey, "asking - rhetorically, I assumed - whether he seemed like a guy who needed the service of prostitutes", Comey writes.

Trump fired off a series of tweets early ahead of an interview Comey did with U.S. television network the ABC that was set to air in full on Sunday evening.

Trump a year ago abruptly removed Comey who was overseeing a criminal probe into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to influence the 2016 presidential election that was won by him.

US President attacked former FBI Director on Friday as a "weak and untruthful slime ball", reacting to news accounts that cite Comey as searingly critical of the president in a memoir due to be published next week. Trump said on Twitter.

"I don't think they're really contemplating this", Ryan replied.

The renewed attacks by Trump came as ABC News was set to air an interview with Comey at 10 p.m. EDT on Sunday in which he discusses his book, "A Higher Loyalty".

Trump has vehemently denied that the incident occurred or that such a tape exists, and according to Comey, Trump told him in January 2017 that he may want him to investigate it to prove that the incident didn't occur. "I sat there thinking, Holy crap, they are trying to make each of us "amica nostra" - friend of ours".

United Kingdom says Russian Federation spied on ex-double agent, his daughter before poisoning
The embassy posted on Twitter on Tuesday: "We need urgent proof that what is being done to her is done on her own free will". Russian Federation has vehemently denied any allegations of involvement in the incident.

"Slippery James Comey, a man who always ends up badly and out of whack (he is not smart!), will go down as the WORST FBI Director in history, by far!"

Trump recently accused Comey of leaking classified information, saying he should be prosecuted for lying to Congress under oath.

His silly theory is based on the findings contained in a fraudulent, debunked dossier pieced together during the 2016 presidential election at the behest of failed Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and the Democrat National Committee.

That partisan split creates an overall picture today of 14 percentage points more Americans disapproving (47%) than approving (33%) of Trump's decision to fire Comey.

"We have a good relationship", Mr. Ryan said of the president.

While Comey does not outline the details of the information - and says he didn't see indications of Lynch inappropriately influencing the investigation - he says it anxious him that the material could be used to attack the integrity of the probe and the FBI's independence.

Todd also asked Ryan if he agreed with Trump's description of Comey as a "slimeball".
