You might recognize AtGames as the makers of last year's Sega Genesis Flashback HD, which was panned in reviews. We suggest just replacing the Sonic 3 music with Smash Mouth instead.

Over the weekend Sega announced that a range of Sega Ages titles would be coming to the Switch, all of them from the Megadrive.

A senior producer behind the project has admitted that, if the project is to expand beyond the initial 15 games, it could likely include games from two of Sega's most noteworthy consoles - the Sega Dreamcast and Sega Saturn. "From a selection of home console classics, to a multitude of perfectly-emulated arcade games, Sega Ages gives fans the ability to build their own retro Sega collection unlike any other".

Some additional details about some of the games to be featured in SEGA AGES were revealed at SEGA Fes 2018 in a panel after the announcement.

The first five SEGA AGES titles have been announced, including such notable games as the Sega Master System versions of Phantasy Star and Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Sega Genesis versions of Thunder Force IV and Sonic the Hedgehog, as well as a port of the original arcade version of Gain Ground.
